11th April
Meeting deadlines
Today as a group we met the client for the first time, he introduced himself and so did we. in this session we went over the brief and went into detail. he gave us an opportunity to ask him any questions to do with the brief, but in this session it wasnt really about pitching any ideas to him it was more about really understanding the brief so that we could make the right product and we could start generating ideas form that meeting onwards. in that meeting we both agreed that this ident was not to help the new inflow of students coming to CTK, but it was to help promote and brand the new CTK channel which posts content such as the fashion show, the schools Dance group, media projects such as short films the media students created and more CTK content.

19th April
today we had a production meeting with mr barton to see how our idea were and to see if they were strong enough to pitch to the client in our next meeting. when we pitched our to sir we came to find out that our ideas only covered the media, dance or creative side, after talking to sir we understood that we would be isolating the audience that are not creative so we then changed the idea and each ident now represents the content in the channel, for example one ident will do with sport to represent the sport content that will be on the channel then another one of the idents will be about dance which represents that dancing videos that will be uploaded etc.

25th April
Today we met the client for the second time. in this meeting we discussed the 4 ident ideas that we had we then presented the client with a copy of our pre production. when talking about our ideas we felt as though the client was on board with what we where saying he seemed to like our ideas which was good the only thing that he was a little sceptical about was the way we where going to shoot it in terms of the time scales we are doing it in we where going to do each ident one by one as a group but he thought it would be more effective if we 4 of us did each ident then bring it to the last person who is the best at editing to do the last edit and clean it up.
