mini report

when making a music video you will get a budget and that is slit into a number of things that you need to consider which can limit or allow you to be as creative as possible to create an image for yourself as an artist or for your artist that you are trying to sell. Not only that but you want this video to promote the song/track that the video is for.
the Budge depends on what your concept is, the locations, props, the production equipment, cast and crew and food.
the budget is split in brackets which are 25k, 35k-50k, 50k-75k, 100k, 150k, 200k, 250k-300k, 500k+.
the lower budget categories are normally the budgets for self produced artists so from about 25k to at most 75k. the middle  section would be for indie labels so about 100k to 300k and the rest from 500k+ would be major labels because they make over 70% of all the income in the international music business.
when you watch a music video you are normally able to detect the type of label and the kind of budget that they use because of things such as; the quality of the video, the locations that they are using, the image that they are trying to portray also the props and how much talent is used.
