Nigel is a hard working,
enthusiastic and confident student that has an amazing creative flair especially in
film and film editing. Nigel is very good at articulating ideas or pitches to
the class, him being very confident, it shows in the way he connects with the
other students.
Nigel is a very likeable and friendly person that has a positive attitude towards the work and also his class mate which makes it easy for him when it comes to doing group work because he has obtained a relationship of some sort with every one in the class.
Nigel is a very capable student who can easily obtain M and even D with ease, but at times he can be lazy and will not be able to show and display his full poetical that we all expect him to so that he can excel in the course to achieve his MEG of MMM
Nigel has produced some excellent pieces of work for example his short film where he short and edited by himself when others where in groups. this piece of work has everything a short horror film should have from the narrative to the the editing. in the edit he was one of the only people to add a flash back in his film to show the character putting together pieces of a story.
As i said Nigel can show to be some what lazy at times and can sometimes go over deadlines which can effect others when doing group work so that is an area that he needs to work on and I have spoken to him about this and he seemed to have understood what I said and has worked on it ever since.
when Nigel
is focused he can produce some outstanding written work that normally will get
M or D grades but because he misses soft deadlines he misses out on feedback that
can help him to get that D grade, so as soon as he works on that the writing
work will be able to match his practical work because the work shows so much
understanding just like in the practical side.
